The official production release of QuranicWords — an offline-first, privacy-focused, and gamified Android application teaching the vocabulary of the Qur'an by frequency of occurrence.

  • 💾 Backup Restore Progress Synchronization: Remapped all imported stats, progress, exercise attempts, achievements, and daily practice rows directly to the device's active local user ID. Home screen, Roadmap/Timeline, Progress tab, and Learned Words immediately display imported progress and stay continuously synchronized as new lessons are completed.
  • 🎨 Dynamic Widget Theme Synchronization: Home screen widgets dynamically match the app's selected ThemeMode (LIGHT, DARK, SYSTEM) with dual-mode Android 12+ RemoteViews and instant background refresh upon settings updates.
  • 🔄 Matching Exercise Selection Reset: Scoped lesson exercise state by key(uiState.currentIndex) and ensured clean justMatched reset and matchOrder synchronization so tapped words never remain selected across multi-repetition (3x / 5x) practice sequences.
  • 🕒 Timestamped Backup Export: Export filenames now include date and time (quranicwords_backup_yyyyMMdd_HHmmss.json).
  • 🛡️ Seamless Backup Import & Crash Loop Prevention: Replaced raw locale tag comparison with resolved Language.fromTag(...) comparison in MainActivity and MainViewModel, eliminating infinite activity recreation cycles and crash loops on backup restore.
  • 📊 Deterministic Attempt History Queries: Added primary key tiebreakers (id DESC) to ExerciseAttemptDao queries, ensuring accurate attempt resolution even during same-millisecond logging.
  • 📈 Reactive Progress & Learned Words Observation: Converted ProgressViewModel and LearnedWordsViewModel to live Room flow collectors, ensuring charts, mastered counts, and review queues update reactively.
  • 🛡️ Pristine Quality Gate (0 Warnings): Clean compilation across all modules under Kotlin -Werror, Android Lint Vital (0 issues), ProGuard/R8 shrinking, and 209 unit tests (100% pass).
