Hi, I tried version 0.2.6 on Windows 11, and I only had problems with ffmpeg; I had to install it manually.

@camilocarrai1997 downloaded models but when I tested Dubbing video, saw

Error: Transcription produced no segments. No Modul named 'pkg_resources'

Are your tests passing?

@Hao4Wang i had the same problem when i tested dubbing video, i try to upload and transcribe the video but i get this error.

Seems to be a problem with WhisperX, you need to go to settings, engines, ASR and select PyTorch, just click on "use"

@Hao4Wang im facing 4 others problems right now...

1- The huggingface token doesn't save; apparently I have to enter it every time, and I don't know if it's working.
2- The speaker detector isn't working correctly; when dubbing, the transcription doesn't accurately detect how many speakers are present. Furthermore, if there are two speakers, the dialogue line detected by speaker A is mixed with that of speaker B, even when it detects that there are two.
3- I don't know if this is a bug or if the option is simply unavailable, but when transcribing, before doing the dubbing, the transcription doesn't let me change the detected speaker in case it's incorrectly detected.

@debpalash 0.2.7 installed on Windows 10, it's OK. Hope Next:

• Change Models storage location. C:\AppData\Local\OmniVoice\hf_cache the system partition is running out of space.
• Add more ASR Model open asr leaderboard. Whisper is slow.

Hey @camilocarrai1997 — sorry about the setup trouble. Could you share a bit more detail so we can help?

1. Install method: Are you using the desktop app, Docker, or running from source?
2. OS: Windows / macOS / Linux?
3. Error message: Any traceback or error output?

A few things that might help:

• Desktop app (simplest): download from the Releases page
• Docker: we just fixed a Docker crash in PR fix: resolve open issues — Discord link, Docker crash, IndexTTS compat, engine tooltips #47 — the 0.2.7 image had a Python import path bug. This will be resolved in the next release.
• From source: make sure you run uv sync (not pip install) from the repo root
