This is the 1.7.0 release of declix-bash - Bash script generator for declarative Linux system configuration.

Installation

Using Container (Recommended - No local installation required)

# Generate script using the official container
podman run --rm -v ./resources.pkl:/work/resources.pkl ghcr.io/declix/declix-bash:1.7.0 /work/resources.pkl > generated.sh

# Or use 'latest' tag
podman run --rm -v ./resources.pkl:/work/resources.pkl ghcr.io/declix/declix-bash:latest /work/resources.pkl > generated.sh

# Apply the generated configuration
bash generated.sh check   # Check what would change
bash generated.sh diff    # Show detailed differences
bash generated.sh apply   # Apply configuration

Requirements

For container usage: Only podman or docker

For single-file script:

• pkl (Apple's configuration language) must be installed
• sudo access for system modifications
