Stable 1.0.0 release. Packages and versioned Docker images were published on September 28, 2026; this GitHub release documents the existing v1.0.0 tag without rebuilding or replacing them.
Highlights
- Local YAML configuration with explicit CLI/cron, HTTP server and optional read-only terminal UI modes. Non-interactive commands do not open curses.
- Documented configuration, CLI, HTTP
/v1, metrics and audit journal compatibility baselines. - Bounded Docker stats response reading, stricter selector validation and terminal restoration on signals.
- Release gates covering regression tests, distributions, Docker images, UI and upgrade/rollback rehearsals.
Install and upgrade
- Python:
pip install monit-docker==1.0.0 - Agent image:
decryptus/monit-docker:1.0.0 - Optional web UI:
decryptus/monit-docker-ui:1.0.0
Versioned images target Linux amd64. The Docker latest tag is not updated. Preserve configuration, state and journals, and read the release notes and upgrade guidance before upgrading.
Validation limits
Finite regression and acceptance checks are not proof of leak-free operation, sustained saturation tolerance or a universal service-level guarantee. Publication is separate from validation of a particular deployment. The full release notes document remaining operational limits.
