Version 1.0.1 expands and improves the DedSec Project with updated core tools, new functionality, and refinements across the Termux experience.

What's New

  • Added the new Transfer System to "Settings.py".

    • Creates offline transfer archives of the Termux environment.
    • Splits large transfers into manageable ZIP files.
    • Generates an "Install.sh" restoration script.
    • Excludes credentials, SSH keys, tokens, GitHub authentication data, project secrets, and other sensitive files.
    • Designed to move a compatible Termux environment to another device without requiring the transferred packages to be downloaded again.
  • Significantly expanded Digital Footprint Finder.py.

    • Case-based public-source OSINT workflow.
    • Supports domains, URLs, usernames, emails, IP addresses, names, phone numbers, organizations, files, hashes, ASNs, prefixes, and additional investigation pivots.
    • Uses multiple free public data sources and APIs.
    • Supports optional user-provided API credentials for additional enrichment.
    • Adds evidence tracking, SHA-256 hashes, relationships, confidence analysis, timelines, contradictions, correlation, and investigation guidance.
    • Supports multiple report and evidence export formats.
    • Saves investigation results under "Downloads/Digital Footprint Finder//files/".
  • Added Trojan.py to the Developer Base.

    • Educational Termux malware-demonstration script for understanding the capabilities and risks of malicious scripts on non-root Android environments.
    • Demonstrates collection of accessible device information and files, Termux:API interactions, local archiving, and configurable test behaviors.
    • Saves generated data under "/sdcard/Download/Troy/", with "~/Troy/" used as a fallback when shared storage is unavailable.

DedSec Project v1.0.0

This is the first stable release of DedSec Project.

The project started as a small collection of Termux scripts and gradually became a much larger Android and Termux toolkit focused on cybersecurity, development, privacy, networking, automation, learning, and general utilities.

Version 1.0.0 brings the main parts of the project together into a more complete and stable release.

What's included

  • 86 documented tools
  • Full English and Greek environments
  • Android and Termux support
  • Central installation through "Setup.sh"
  • Project management through "Settings.py"
  • ButSystem
  • Networking and privacy tools
  • Cybersecurity and awareness tools
  • Development utilities
  • Termux repair, backup, restore, and maintenance tools
  • Games and interactive tools
  • Educational material and documentation
  • Project backup system
  • Security and legal documentation

English and Greek support

The project includes separate English and Greek environments.

After installation:

  • "e" opens the English version
  • "g" opens the Greek version

Menus, scripts, documentation, and instructions are translated where supported.

Installation

"Setup.sh" handles the main installation process and installs or checks the dependencies required by the project.

Recommended minimum requirements:

  • Android with Termux
  • 2 GB RAM or more
  • Around 6 GB of free storage
  • Internet connection during installation

The initial setup can take around 20–50 minutes depending on the device and internet connection.

6 GB is the recommended space for installing the project itself. Some tools can generate photos, videos, recordings, backups, reports, downloads, captures, and other files, so more storage may be required depending on how the project is used.

ButSystem

ButSystem is one of the larger parts of DedSec Project and is included with this release.

It provides a self-hosted workspace with features such as:

  • Direct messages
  • Groups and discussion rooms
  • Saved messages
  • Stories
  • Voice notes
  • File sharing
  • User profiles
  • Device approval
  • Two-factor security options
  • Chat PIN protection
  • Private file storage
  • Large file uploads
  • File-sharing links
  • Search and export tools
  • Administration features
  • Notifications
  • Optional live locations
  • News and weather
  • Local HTTPS access
  • Cloudflared support
  • Tor hidden-service support
  • QR-code generation

Security and educational tools

Some tools in the project demonstrate techniques used in cybersecurity attacks, social engineering, tracking, information collection, fake interfaces, and similar areas.

They are included for education, research, awareness, controlled testing, and defensive-security purposes.

Use them only on:

  • Your own devices
  • Your own accounts
  • Your own infrastructure
  • Test environments
  • Systems where you have permission to perform security testing

Unauthorized or malicious use is not supported.

Documentation

The repository also contains:

  • English and Greek documentation
  • Contributor information
  • Security policy
  • Legal documentation
  • Master Termux In 7 Days material
  • Project artwork and wallpapers
  • Demonstration content
  • Maintenance files
  • Experimental and archived material

v1.0.0

Version 1.0.0 is the first release that I consider the stable base of DedSec Project.

There is still a lot that can be improved and expanded, but this release gives the project a clear starting point for future updates.

Future versions will continue improving compatibility, performance, security, documentation, existing tools, and the overall Termux experience.

Thanks to everyone who has tested, used, starred, forked, contributed to, or supported the project.
