What's new in 0.3.4

Indicators and scripts

  • Studies get the full chart context: the symbol's session, time zone, price grid, type and currency, the chart colours and the state of the newest bar; daily, weekly and monthly bars reach them at the session open of their trading day (#39, #40).
  • Indicators that read the visible part of the chart calculate again after a scroll or a zoom (#39).
  • Indicators, scripts and strategies can read other symbols (request.security of another ticker): their bars load on request, follow the chart's history and update live (#42, #44).
  • A study that fails shows its status in the legend: a red cross for a symbol that cannot be loaded, a red "!" for another error, with the message on click (#43).
  • A study waiting for its data shows the loading state in the legend; values that are not available read "∅" (#45).
  • Alerts on a study use the same chart context and bar state as the chart (#40).
  • Script editor: no false error marks, and a script added again is drawn again (#41).
