Breaking changes

  • Logging: Serilog → Microsoft.Extensions.Logging. Library.Initialize() and the Deepgram.Logger.LogLevel enum are unchanged; a few Serilog-typed members on Deepgram.Logger.Log change shape. Serilog remains fully usable, now as an MEL provider. See the README's "Upgrading from 6.x (Serilog → Microsoft.Extensions.Logging)" section for the full migration table. (#419)
  • Flux TTS: GA controls added to IFluxSpeakWebSocketClient. SendInterrupt (two overloads), SendConfigure, and three Subscribe overloads are now part of the public interface. This only affects hand-written concrete implementations of the interface — ClientFactory/FluxSpeakWebSocketClient consumers and mock-based tests (NSubstitute/Moq) are unaffected. See the README's "Upgrading from 6.x (IFluxSpeakWebSocketClient interface members)" section. (#425)

Features

  • Flux TTS is now GA. Adds barge-in (Interrupt, with session-cumulative playback_offset), mid-stream Configure for speaking speed, and a expressivity (beta) param on both the streaming WebSocket and batch REST transports. controls_applied gains a breaks_applied counter. "(Preview)"/Early-Access markers are dropped now that the surface is GA. (#425)

Fixes

  • WebSocket payload JSON corruption, an Agent unknown-message crash, and teardown-race NREs. (#418)
  • Flush buffered audio before Finalize on the WebSocket client. (#420)
  • Use Microsoft.Extensions.Http.Resilience on net8.0 instead of the deprecated Polly.Extensions.Http stack. (#421)

Docs

  • Clarify Agent multi-parameter function calls; deprecate vestigial models. (#422)
