Breaking changes

None. Additive only; every existing 7.1 call compiles and binds unchanged.

Fixes

  • Voice Agent: FunctionCallRequest functions are no longer dropped. FunctionCallRequestResponse now carries Functions, a list of the new FunctionCall record (Id, Name, Arguments, ClientSide). Previously the record had no body beyond Type, so the functions[] array was lost on deserialization and callers could not build a FunctionCallResponse for the request. (#428, #430)
  • WebSocket errors keep their machine-readable code. The common ErrorResponse (Deepgram.Models.Common.v2.WebSocket) gains Code, inherited by the Listen, Speak and Agent v2 error records and copied through the Agent Subscribe(EventHandler<ErrorResponse>) wrapper. Agent errors such as CLIENT_MESSAGE_TIMEOUT previously surfaced with Code missing. (#428, #430)

Documentation

  • README: SendForceEndTurn availability section now states it shipped in 7.1.0 instead of "unreleased; next 7.x". (#429)

CI and release tooling

  • CI, CD and CD-dev workflows moved to actions/checkout@v4 and actions/setup-dotnet@v4, replaced the deprecated ::set-output version step with $GITHUB_OUTPUT, and dropped an empty ref: checkout input. Fixes the deprecated Node runtime warnings from the 7.0.0 release run. No change to published packages. (#429)
  • New tests-daily.yml: runs the full suite against the live API at 09:00 UTC daily (and on demand) so integration tests that are skipped without a key run for real. (#293, #431)
