DepthStrap 1.2.4 fixes the Complete wipe failure reported as The parameter is incorrect. : '\\.\nul'. A literal file named nul is now scanned through the Windows literal-file namespace rather than interpreted as a device.

• Scan past reserved filenames and report inaccessible locations without aborting the rest of discovery or silently treating those locations as clean.
• Expand the bounded project/shortcut discovery budget to two million entries.
• Show the actual failure beside the wipe button and scroll it into view so retries have a useful explanation.
• Add reserved-name and access-denied regression fixtures and read-only current-profile discovery to the release audits.

Validation: three separate full audits, each containing 20 check groups, plus 24 native administrator fixture checks. These cover app regressions, toolkit reset transactions, interface behavior, privacy/package boundaries, live version/package loading, updater selection and clean-source builds. Destructive checks use synthetic data; no real Roblox, Studio or browser data was deleted.

Anti Api remains Beta. Unresolved/protected locations are reported as incomplete. Physical MAC changes and real all-user Windows Store uninstall were not executed in these tests. Only supported, identified local locations are in scope.

DepthStrap 1.2.3

Anti Api now has one administrator-approved Complete wipe action. Accept permanent deletion and type WIPE ROBLOX; the app checks the supported scope and performs the wipe without a separate create/save-preview step.

• Added an offline-registry loading fallback, bounded sharing retries and useful Windows error details.
• Removed unnecessary registry ownership/ACL modification permission requests.
• Recognized standard Windows compatibility junctions without following them.
• Fixed false-success reporting when final verification discovers unresolved locations.
• Guarded duplicate clicks, queued operations, confirmation reuse and retries after errors. The helper title now includes the app version.

Three separate full audits passed all 60 groups. A separate administrator test passed 23 integration checks using disposable files, offline hives, an isolated machine-registry subtree and a synthetic browser database. The package, source archives, privacy checks and checksums were verified.

Anti Api remains Beta. The offline-hive fallback was verified natively; physical MAC changes and destructive all-user Windows Store uninstall were not executed. Complete wipe permanently deletes identified Studio projects/models and supported Roblox app/browser data, retaining only the exact original installed DepthStrap.exe and unrelated data outside its supported scope. Close affected apps and browsers first.

• Combined Anti Api reset: one Windows administrator request, one all-user preview and one confirmation for known Roblox/Studio installations, Roblox/DepthStrap files and registrations, Store packages, RobloxCookies.dat and Roblox cookies in supported browser profiles. Only the exact original installed DepthStrap.exe is retained. The preview includes discovered saved Studio projects and models; confirmation permanently deletes them. Other website cookies and saved browser tabs are preserved.
• Fixed reset confirmation handling, UAC cancellation, matching-helper validation, large file previews and offline registry loading/flushing. Read-only Firefox recovery files stop preparation before application files are removed. Corrupt, locked, redirected, changed or remaining data produces an error or incomplete result.
• Fixed ID Selector losing the selected game and explicitly launch joins through the current DepthStrap installation.
• Serialize Player launches through multi-client setup and watcher startup. Cleanup targets only the watched Player whose previously observed window was destroyed for 30 seconds; hidden and recreated windows are retained.
• Refresh current/previous Windows Player release labels, resolve release families such as 741/742, and explicitly install the resolved build for upgrade/rollback. WEAO RDD supplies the downgrade catalog; packages remain verified against official Roblox manifests. Roblox may reject older clients.
• Public network requests respect bounded Retry-After cooldowns and cancellation. Unpublished probes remain distinct from published addresses that do not reply.
• Automatic app updates still replace only DepthStrap and preserve Roblox update/pause/pinned-build settings.

Three full audit passes cover the release candidate, with additional isolated Windows lifecycle tests, a 50,001-file reset fixture, historical package verification and clean-source runtime checks. Packages pass privacy/credential scans and SHA-256 verification. No known vulnerable direct/transitive packages were reported.

Anti Api remains Beta. Actual destructive all-user uninstall/Store servicing, real adapter changes and signed-in gameplay were not exercised on the development PC. Reset scope is shown before confirmation; unlisted copies/custom browser locations, Windows logs, external backups and cloud data are outside it. This release is unsigned and does not guarantee third-party executor compatibility.

DepthStrap 1.2.1

Fixes false missing-probe reports for New York/New York City and Frankfurt/Frankfurt am Main. City matching also handles the verified Querétaro and São Paulo naming variants while keeping different countries and neighbouring cities separate.

Network setup now distinguishes datacenter locations without published peering addresses from published addresses that do not respond. Incomplete tests no longer describe every discovered location as tested. This update does not add guessed addresses or guarantee that published routers reply to ping. Setup routing scores remain separate from Roblox gameplay latency.

Adds a repeatable location-by-location coverage audit and includes it in every full release audit. The current public inventories contain 154 addresses across 20 peering locations; 18 of 35 active Roblox datacenter locations have a published matching address. These figures can change as the public inventories change.

Includes the existing Anti Api ( Beta ) toolkit and DepthStrap automatic updates. Updating DepthStrap preserves the selected Roblox build and paused Roblox-update setting. The private edition is not included.

Validation: three separate full audits passed all 54 groups. Each passed 855 app regression checks, 204 recovery checks, 44 simulated MAC transaction checks, 254 toolkit UI/helper checks and 31 adapter provider fixtures. Every pass checked live network loading and all active datacenter coverage results, official current/previous Roblox packages, dependency vulnerabilities, clean extracted source builds, privacy scans and release checksums. Physical adapter changes, Windows restart behavior and real signed-in data deletion remain outside the fixture validation; the toolkit stays Beta.

DepthStrap 1.0.16

Fixes live session detection when Roblox writes a log line in separate chunks and ignores malformed join records without stopping the watcher. Delayed reconnects now stop when a replacement game or pending join exists. The watcher follows its own Player process directly, so a failed process-list query cannot shut down monitoring.

Autolog cooldown and rejected-close cases retain diagnostics. Learned primary/fallback regions survive temporary route lookup failures. Reset Network clears the active setup marker, and current-route tests reject mixed-route samples. Cancelling setup waits for an already-started WARP installer to finish.

Uninstall detects running Player/Studio clients and stops if they cannot close. Windows/network tuning accepts valid numeric driver ranges and permits power-plan operations when adapter inspection is unavailable.

Validation: 453 regression checks including live public API loading, six settings pages and dialog/theme previews. No administrator tuning, firmware changes, WARP switching or Windows restart was performed. This release contains no ByGone code or spoofing integration.

DepthStrap 1.0.15

DepthStrap 1.0.15 adds optional Windows and network adapter performance profiles.

• New interactive installs offer Balanced, Extreme, Skip and Restore. Existing users can open DepthStrap Settings → Windows & network performance → Profiles / restore. No tuning runs without selecting a profile and approving Windows UAC.
• Balanced creates a High performance Windows plan and checks five adapter controls: EEE, selective suspend, sleep on disconnect, RSS and auto-negotiated link speed.
• Extreme creates an Ultimate Performance Windows plan where supported, requests six AC processor options (100% min/max state, no core parking, performance energy preference, including heterogeneous variants), and checks 25 adapter controls. It disables supported power saving, interrupt moderation, flow control, coalescing, segmentation and checksum offloads, keeps RSS enabled, and uses driver-reported maximum queues/buffers. RSS CPU count is bounded by available logical processors. Unknown/implausible limits are skipped. Link speed uses auto-negotiation for the fastest shared link.
• The bundled PowerShell script executes from the app resource; no elevated user-writable script file or arbitrary command input. Both profiles back up originals before changes, verify saved adapter values, report unsupported/failed options and retain recovery records. Restore preserves later manual changes and removes only generated power-plan copies. Missing adapter backups survive.
• A highlighted notice says “Changes will apply after Windows restart.” The Restart Windows button appears after installation and network setup are complete, asks for confirmation and does not force-close apps. No reboot is scheduled during setup.
• Adapter changes use NoRestart; restart Windows then rerun Reset Network. Tuning is blocked while Roblox/Studio is open. Quiet installs and automatic app upgrades do not trigger tuning. Changes persist until Restore.

Extreme is an aggressive tradeoff, not a guaranteed FPS/ping improvement. It can increase CPU work, heat, power consumption, loss or queueing delay and reduce throughput/battery life. Ultimate Performance and individual options depend on Windows, hardware and driver support. Windows components and security services are retained; there is no debloat or clean-install operation. Automatic app updates continue to replace DepthStrap only.

Validation: zero-warning/error Release build; 427 regression checks and 18 additional PowerShell fixture assertions cover limits/step alignment, backups before writes, driver failures, restore preservation, unavailable adapters, cloned power-plan ownership and profile behavior. Mock tests do not alter the development PC. Actual administrator-approved tuning on physical hardware remains unverified.

DepthStrap 1.0.14

DepthStrap 1.0.14 fixes multi-client preparation failing when another launcher already owns compatible singleton mutexes.

• Cooperate with existing mutex owners, retain handles and take ownership when released. Do not force-close foreign process handles or terminate clients.
• Allow up to 30 seconds for helper startup; detect explicit failure/exit promptly and observe launch cancellation.
• Replace the generic exception screen with recovery instructions. If no Player is running, offer a normal launch for this attempt. If Player sessions are present, cancel the new launch safely. Preserve the saved multi-client setting.

The supplied log reports DepthStrap 1.0.0 and confirms installation completed before the helper timed out. The screenshot shows Roblox Account Manager running; the log does not prove which object prevented readiness. Real interoperability with that installation is not yet verified.

Validation: zero-warning/error Release build and 416 regression checks for cross-thread shared mutex ownership/handoff, incompatible object types, delayed readiness, early failure/exit, timeout and cancellation. Privacy/credential scans and release checksums are required before publication.

Automatic updates replace DepthStrap only; Roblox pause/pinned-build settings are unchanged.

DepthStrap 1.0.13

DepthStrap 1.0.13 improves FastFlag export compatibility with Bloxstrap and Froststrap.

• Preserve every imported identifier, including shortened names, casing and separate short/full entries with conflicting values. No prefix guessing, alias merging or online catalog dependency.
• Preserve scalar values and place/datacenter filter strings. Skip null entries as the upstream editors do.
• Accept pasted object members, BOMs, comments and trailing commas. Exact duplicates, malformed trailing content and non-scalar values fail before changes are made.
• Preserve explicit fullscreen flags on reload; fix editing a string value that equals its flag name.
• Raise bounded import capacity to 16 MB / 50,000 entries and support longer string values.

Roblox itself determines which local flags take effect. Competitive's managed rendering overrides still apply while enabled. This release does not bypass Roblox flag restrictions or establish executor compatibility.

Validation: zero-warning/error Release build and 409 regression checks, including a production save/reload/export round trip with over 11,000 flags, all flag families, filters, long strings and case-distinct keys. The supplied export now preserves all 378 entries and 22 shortened names, with no omissions or alias conflicts. The configuration stays local and is excluded from release/source packages.

Automatic DepthStrap updates remain app-only and preserve Roblox update/pinned-build settings.
