We are excited to announce v0.5-PQ of UIL-X (uild), introducing post-quantum payload commitments, dynamic shared object (.so) driver loading, and native NPU/accelerator substrate target routing.

Post-Quantum Cryptography: Transitioned
$UPFo$ payload commitments to standard SHA3-256 and SHA3-512 engines (pkg/crypto), providing quantum-resilient cryptographic state auditing. -
Dynamic Plugin Substrates (
.so): Introduced runtime loading via constructor symbols (NewDriver()), allowing third-party and commercial physical safety interlocks to be dynamically linked without touching the core runtime. -
Multi-Substrate Routing: Standardized hardware driver abstractions (
pkg/substrate) for target auto-detection acrossHAILO8_NPU,MEMRYX_NPU,AMD_XDNA2_NPU,RADEON_840M_VULKAN, and low-level Linux system signals. -
Streamlined CLI (
uild): Initialized developer-facing runtime management commands:-
uild init— Prepares local configuration and state folders. -
uild run— Spawns the execution safety daemon, scans./plugins/*.so, and executes interlock loops. -
uild status— Reports active substrate readiness and breach counters.
