UIL-X v0.5-PQ: Post-Quantum Cryptography & Dynamic Substrate Architecture

We are excited to announce v0.5-PQ of UIL-X (uild), introducing post-quantum payload commitments, dynamic shared object (.so) driver loading, and native NPU/accelerator substrate target routing.

⚡ Key Highlights in v0.5-PQ

  • Post-Quantum Cryptography: Transitioned $UPFo$ payload commitments to standard SHA3-256 and SHA3-512 engines (pkg/crypto), providing quantum-resilient cryptographic state auditing.
  • Dynamic Plugin Substrates (.so): Introduced runtime loading via constructor symbols (NewDriver()), allowing third-party and commercial physical safety interlocks to be dynamically linked without touching the core runtime.
  • Multi-Substrate Routing: Standardized hardware driver abstractions (pkg/substrate) for target auto-detection across HAILO8_NPU, MEMRYX_NPU, AMD_XDNA2_NPU, RADEON_840M_VULKAN, and low-level Linux system signals.
  • Streamlined CLI (uild): Initialized developer-facing runtime management commands:
    • uild init — Prepares local configuration and state folders.
    • uild run — Spawns the execution safety daemon, scans ./plugins/*.so, and executes interlock loops.
    • uild status — Reports active substrate readiness and breach counters.

🛡️ Intellectual Property & License
