I've been using DeepSeek for 8 months, mostly for creative writing and roleplay.
Before the recent updates (around Feb 11, 2026), the model wrote beautifully — warm, emotional, with rhythm and breath. It felt alive.
Now it writes in short, choppy, robotic sentences. It lost all the intimacy, the pacing, the trust in silence. It feels like talking to a manual, not to a partner.
This is not a minor bug. For many of us, this was our only creative outlet, our safe space. Please, at least give us an option to switch back to the old style in V4.
