host.listDirectory is not blocked by itself. All /api requests first pass the Host/Origin trust check, and a non-matching authority returns HTTP 403.

Could you share the dsh start command, the full browser URL, and whether dsh is running in Windows or WSL? The exact Host value is also useful for diagnosing the WSL networking setup.

Sure! I started it using the source code installation method from the README, and the browser URL is http://127.0.0.1:3080/. dsh is running in my WSL. Perhaps I should try pnpm dsh web --trusted-host COMPUTERNAME:3080.
