Settings, deferred — Phase 5 of the TODO fix-up plan. Nothing applies until you hit Save.

  • Every control edits a draft; a footer lists your pending changes in plain words. Save applies everything atomically (one watcher restart, prompts fire at Save); Revert resets the draft; ✕ / Esc close without applying.
  • The cache section is one card — checking a row stages the clear; Cancel is gone; "Build index" now clears the real cache file.
  • Clearing live gear now REBUILDS your characters: it wipes the saved loadouts and replays the entire TTS log from the beginning (survives restarts mid-replay; never deletes the log itself; long-deleted items can't resurrect through it).
  • Diagnose capture is a true viewer — open it, close it, and your unsaved settings are still there.
