Release list
xSync 0.1.1
xSync 0.1.1 improves settings discovery and release provenance while preserving the existing sync protocol and approved interface.
- Settings search now indexes connection, pause/resume, exclusions and client snapshot terms without reading credentials. The existing form remains in place.
- Replace CSS !important declarations with scoped selectors and preserve hidden-panel behavior.
- Centralize the stable logical configuration namespace; physical configuration I/O continues to use Vault.configDir, including custom configuration folders. No encrypted path or wire-format migration.
- Publish only main.js, manifest.json and styles.css. License notices are embedded in main.js; all three installation files have GitHub build attestations.
Review context: configuration paths, RE2JS Prefilter.eval(), vault enumeration and provenance. Automated review findings can include these necessary capabilities or false positives.
Validation: typecheck, default tests, builds, packaging, Go vet, Docker PostgreSQL contracts/race/recovery and native IndexedDB crash tests passed in CI. Isolated browser CSS checks covered hidden panes, active tabs and device-card layout. This does not add native-device validation.
Requires your own HTTPS server and Obsidian 1.14.5+. Current interface: Chinese. Target platforms: macOS and iOS; Android secure storage is unavailable, and Windows/Linux have not completed physical-device validation. Continuous background or locked-screen sync is not guaranteed. Back up your vault before using this initial release.
xSync 0.1.0
Initial xSync release for independent test vaults. Community listing remains a draft.
- Self-hosted end-to-end encrypted sync with explicit conflict review.
- Owner-local initialization, signed device enrollment, protected credentials and persistent device revocation.
- Host-sanitized UI, portable window timers, fixed self-exclusions, and per-device sync rules.
Validation: 93 default tests, type checking, both plugin builds, package checks and a dependency audit passed locally. CI also verifies PostgreSQL contracts, race detection, multi-device recovery and native IndexedDB crash recovery.
Target platforms: macOS and iOS; minimum host 1.14.5. Android secure storage is not implemented. Fresh Mac/iPhone onboarding/credential changes, coordinated backup restoration and production security validation remain incomplete. iOS depends on an internal native host bridge; background execution is not guaranteed.
See README and docs/SETUP.md before use. Keep the sync key on your own devices and offline backup; do not upload it to the server.
