  • README's blink.cmp setup snippet now recommends async = true on the provider so cheap sources (buffer, snippets, etc.) render immediately and WezTerm pane candidates merge in as they arrive, instead of blocking the menu for up to blink.cmp's default 2s timeout_ms.

Migration

  • nvim-cmp users: no action required.
  • blink.cmp users: add async = true to the wezterm provider spec to avoid the menu being blocked while wezterm cli runs. See README.
