This preview adds Auto Layout controls and Chinese/English support for the public Figma plugin UI.

Changes

• Layout edits support horizontal, vertical, and free positioning; fixed, hug, and fill sizing; axis alignment; spacing; and padding on each side.
• Structured workflows can create, update, and verify Auto Layout properties. Text sizing loads the required fonts before editing.
• Layout edits include affected Auto Layout ancestors and siblings in their readback. Workflows reject edits that would reflow content outside the authorized scope before writing.
• Plugin buttons, target hints, connection/task states, settings, confirmations, workflow progress, and inactive pages share a Chinese/English catalog.
• Figma's public Plugin API does not expose a reliable UI-language field. The plugin uses the browser language: Chinese locales display Simplified Chinese; all other locales display English.
• Branding, page/layer names, task titles, and task content remain unchanged. Extensions can provide optional disclosureI18n translations; older extensions retain their original disclosure.

For upgrades, inspect any running task, stop the old plugin and connection, install the new package, and restart both. Preserve .figma-agent/ bindings and evidence.

Verification

224 automated tests passed, including CLI/HTTP/plugin message integration and isolated offline package installation. Real Figma tests checked card, list, and form Auto Layout behavior with long content, adding/removing content, and resizing. Real plugin screenshots cover Chinese and English connected, processing, settings, confirmation, error, disconnected, and not-started states. English screenshots used an English browser-language override only in the generated test plugin copy. Both languages passed 340 px panel checks without horizontal overflow.

The package contains the general-purpose runtime and documentation. Temporary scripts, logs, screenshots, credentials, and local experimental extensions are excluded.

This preview adds verified, resumable multi-step design workflows and visible task progress in the Figma plugin.

• Plans declare targets, structured operations, machine-checkable assertions, and optional review checkpoints.
• Explicit capabilities distinguish static design from navigation, scrolling, overlays, and Smart Animate. A later plan can connect existing screens.
• Durable journals, request deduplication, and shared node markers support bounded recovery without blindly duplicating edits.
• The plugin displays the current step and the first failed assertion. Connect preserves other triggers but replaces existing ON_CLICK handlers with the new action.
• Valid background plugin polling is recognized by diagnostics and task waiting.

Verification

The workflow implementation passed 195 automated tests in a clean committed snapshot. Figma Desktop smoke tests verified static edits and node reuse, native navigation and Back, Smart Animate with easing, and overlay open/close. Release packaging is checked separately with an isolated offline installation.

The package contains the general-purpose runtime and documentation. Local experimental extensions, temporary scripts, test logs, and private design evidence are excluded. Machine assertions do not replace visual review; recovery is bounded rather than transactional.

This release adds an optional entry point for local extensions to the standard runtime. The existing connection, selection, editing, preview, and evidence workflows continue to work without a model API key or an extension. The release package contains only the general-purpose runtime; experimental provider-specific extensions are distributed separately.

The plugin settings page lets you select an extension, enter an API key in a masked field, enable or disable the extension, and clear the key. The key is stored only in a restricted local file, not in the system keychain. A successful setup means the configuration was saved; key validity is checked when the extension is called.

This release also fixes:

• Re-handshaking and collecting context after the bridge restarts, so a connection is not shown as ready without its context.
• Allowing read-only inspection while recovering an earlier task. After verifying the exact original target, the Agent can stop waiting while preserving the unknown status of the original result, avoiding duplicate execution.
• Rechecking the target page, Frame, binding scope, and locked state while fonts load asynchronously.
• Reading back solid-color writes with a tolerance to avoid false failures from floating-point precision.

Install and upgrade

Download figma-local-runtime-0.1.0-alpha.2.tgz from this release and run:

First check any existing task, then stop the old plugin and bridge. Install the package, start the bridge, and run the plugin again to load the new code. Keep the bindings and evidence in .figma-agent/. Long-running sessions still require you to start the service and plugin; this release does not include a background installer.

Automated verification covers the CLI, loopback bridge, simulated Figma API, recovery, and offline installation. The settings page was also checked in a separate browser. Visual results and real clicks in Figma still need to be reviewed in the target design file.

安装

准备 macOS、Figma Desktop 和可执行本地任务的 Agent。把目标 Figma 链接和需求发给 Agent，让它处理安装与连接；首次仍需按提示导入并运行开发插件。

Release 提供 figma-local-runtime-0.1.0-alpha.1.tgz，Agent 可运行：

运行依赖 Node.js 22+。本版不发布 npm，不提供已签名的 macOS 应用安装包。

本次验证

• 一轮完整自动回归：161 项，其中初次 160 项通过；发现并修复面板错误提示遗漏。
• 发布审查补齐实例属性与颜色变量操作的异步祖先范围检查；修复前局部用例复现，修复后相关 23 项全部通过。未重复整套回归。
• 原生设计、精修、固定桌面 HTML 和原型主路径已有真实 Figma/浏览器案例证据；实例文字和显隐覆盖另有独立读回与截图。
• 长时任务按用户要求在 75/100 次、约 6 小时停止，保留结果；不能视为 8 小时完整通过。
• 发布包排除会话凭证、私有原稿与本地验收记录。

已知限制

• 五场景尚未全部达到最终上线门槛。复杂 Code to Design 的 Auto Layout 与最终评分待补；HTML 以固定桌面案例为主，未宣称任意页面像素级一致。
• 新轻量面板、参考推荐和颜色变量入口有局部自动检查，真实桌面验收尚未全部完成。参考推荐使用有界名称匹配，10 个任务的自动命中率尚未验证。
• 睡眠/后台恢复、温启动延迟、有限历史保留、干净机器完整安装仍需后续完善。
• 只支持一个文件与单个写入 Agent；首次需链接。无全自动首次插件导入、完整文档回滚、多文件同步。
• 失败或断连时先检查现有结果与文档，不重放不确定脚本。高风险共享定义修改需要用户确认。
