What's new in v1.3.1
Follow-up to v1.3.0 that completes the time slider and footer bar features.
⏩ Playback speed controls
The day-playback now has 1×, 2× and 4× buttons next to the play button, so you can run through the day as fast as you like. The active speed is highlighted, and switching speed mid-playback takes effect right away. The base speed is a bit quicker too (1× is now ~24s for a full 12 hours).
⚙️ Footer bar in the visual editor
The weather, forecast and total entities can now be set straight from the visual editor — previously they were YAML-only. You'll find them under "Footer bar (weather, forecast, total)", along with a "Show total" checkbox:
- Weather entity — suggests your
weather.*entities. - Forecast entity — your expected-output sensor, e.g. Forecast.Solar or Solcast.
- Total entity — leave empty to auto-sum from the panel sensors (each unique sensor counted once).
- Show total — toggle the total on or off.
The footer bar appears automatically as soon as you fill in one of the entities, and disappears when you clear them.
Updating
Update via HACS, then do a hard browser refresh (or clear the .gz in www/community/solar-layout-card/) if you don't see the change right away.
