Improvements
Multi-device sync
Newer edits win predictably when the same item has been touched on two devices, with stable tie-breaking when timestamps land in the same second.
A device returning from sleep now catches up during a normal sync instead of waiting for a manual repair.
When something changes locally, Canto schedules a real sync so your other devices don't wait for the next full cycle.
Internal sync history is kept around longer and only tidied up once every device has caught up, so a slow-syncing Mac can't be left behind.
Tag cleanups (when an unused tag is removed) now propagate to your other devices instead of lingering silently.
Folder & structural moves
Moving a note, notebook, or folder to a new parent now counts as a "change" for sync, so it can be ordered correctly against other edits.
Renaming on one Mac and moving on another no longer causes the two edits to disagree about which happened last.
Sync diagnostics
The sync health summary surfaces the number of active rejected-remote conflicts.
Canto now tracks which notes, notebooks, folders, or tags those conflicts touched, so a Repair Full Sync knows exactly what to refresh.
After a clean Repair Full Sync, historical conflicts are archived and a small "(N archived)" hint shows the prior count for context.
Workspace import
Importing or restoring a .cwsp workspace preserves your encryption key, linked workspace, and pairing details.
Imported folders, notes, and notebooks are queued as sync edits so other Macs receive them on the next sync.
A non-merging import queues deletions before new content, so the other side mirrors the new state cleanly.
Smaller fixes
Equal-timestamp edits now use a stable rule to pick a winner instead of flapping back and forth.
Non-destructive cross-device merges are labeled as last-write-wins merges in the sync history, instead of the older generic label.
You can’t perform that action at this time.
