ClaudeUsageWidget now shows Claude, Claude Fable, and Codex subscription usage together, with an original macOS app icon.
What's new
- Codex usage from the local ChatGPT login, with labels based on the actual quota window.
- Separate Fable weekly usage, supporting scoped and legacy response formats.
- Updated small, medium, and large widgets, plus a live dashboard and manual refresh in the app.
- Independent provider errors, decimal percentages, and explicit missing-data states.
- Original dual-meter app icon, including SVG source and all macOS sizes, distributed under MIT with no third-party icon assets.
- English and Chinese READMEs retain the original project's structure and installation flow.
Install / upgrade
- Download and extract
ClaudeUsageWidget-1.1.zip. - Quit the old app and replace
/Applications/ClaudeUsageWidget.app. - Launch the app and click Save & Refresh. Existing configuration and widget identifiers are preserved.
- If needed, right-click the desktop → Edit Widgets → search Claude or Codex.
Requires macOS 15 or later. The app and widget are universal binaries for Apple Silicon and Intel. The build is ad-hoc signed and is not Apple-notarized.
Claude uses an OAuth token or session key and organization UUID. Codex reads ~/.codex/auth.json by default; API-key-only login does not provide subscription usage. These subscription endpoints may change, and available quotas depend on the account. See the README for configuration details.
Validation
- 12 regression tests passed.
- Release build passed for arm64 and x86_64.
- App and embedded widget signatures verified after archive extraction.
- All 10 macOS AppIcon slots verified.
- SwiftUI layout previews checked for three sizes, light/dark appearance, and normal/error/missing data.
