RESERVE v1.1.5

This release adds alias quality-of-life improvements, fixes citation presentation across observation commands, and resolves a JSON serialization bug for missing values.

Added

  • reserve alias set <ALIAS> <SERIES_ID> --note "..." for optional user-authored alias notes
  • Alias metadata model now supports:
    • series_id (required)
    • note (optional)
  • alias list now includes a NOTE column
  • alias get now displays notes when present
  • New integration coverage group for alias command contracts with styled test output
  • Additional tests for:
    • multi-source citation consolidation
    • single-source Source: label behavior
    • alias validation and ownership behavior across local/user config files

Changed

  • obs latest table output citation behavior is now consolidated:
    • single source: Source: ...
    • multi-source: one deduplicated Sources: ...; ... footer
  • obs get multi-series table output now uses the same consolidated citation footer behavior
  • Reserved alias-name detection now derives from the live root command tree
  • Go toolchain baseline updated to go 1.26.3

Fixed

  • reserve obs get --format json now encodes missing observation values (NaN) as JSON null instead of failing with:
json: unsupported value: NaN
  • Alias collision checks now fail closed on transient upstream/API failures (timeouts/502/503/504/DNS)
  • alias delete now removes aliases from the file that actually owns the alias (local or user), avoiding merged-config visibility/delete mismatches
  • Legacy string-form series_aliases entries are now tolerated on read while canonical structured entries are written

Verification

  • make test passes
  • go test ./cmd ./internal/config ./internal/render ./tests passes
  • Release docs/manifests updated for v1.1.5
  • release-manifest.json points to v1.1.5
