AudioViz v1.1.0 — Widget mode, transparency, Windows 11 fixes

🆕 Widget mode

The visualizer can now live as a floating always-on-top mini-window:

  • Click ❐ WIDGET in the launcher — drag it anywhere, resize by the bottom-right corner, position is remembered.
  • While the control panel is open the widget is in setup mode (gold frame). Minimize the panel — the widget locks: clicks pass right through it, so it never gets in the way of games or work.
  • Transparent by default — only the visualization floats over your windows. Optional frames: none / line / retro bevel.

🖼️ Background modes

  • Transparent / system wallpaper (new default): the widget is truly transparent; wallpaper mode draws the visualization over your current desktop wallpaper — picked up automatically, no need to hunt for the image file.
  • Custom image and black backgrounds are still there. Old settings migrate automatically.

🛠️ Fixes

  • Windows 11 24H2: “Set wallpaper” silently did nothing — the WorkerW desktop layer moved in 24H2; both layouts are now detected.
  • Fullscreen pause: the app pauses under fullscreen apps and now correctly wakes up when you leave fullscreen (previously it stayed frozen).
  • High-DPI launcher: button text no longer clips at 125–150 % display scaling — the retro skin is pixel-exact at any scale.
  • Alt+F4 on the widget closes just the widget, not the whole app.

📝 Note about SmartScreen

The exe is unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may warn on first run: click More info → Run anyway. The app is open source — build it yourself if unsure.

  • Виджет: визуализация плавающим окном поверх других — перенос мышью, размер за правый нижний угол. Панель открыта — настройка (золотая рамка); свернул — виджет закрепляется и пропускает клики сквозь себя (играм не мешает). Прозрачный по умолчанию, рамки на выбор.
  • Фон: новый режим «прозрачный / обои системы» — обои-визуализатор рисуется поверх ваших текущих обоев автоматически.
  • Починено: «Применить» на Windows 11 24H2, зависание после полноэкранных приложений, обрезанный текст кнопок на масштабе 125 %+.

Скачать: AudioViz-win-x64.zip → распаковать → запустить AudioViz.exe. Установка не нужна.
