• Remove model loading freeze — eliminated 500ms progress polling loop that caused UI freeze on all model sizes
• Fix SIGSEGV on inference — removed aggressive madvise(MADV_DONTNEED) that discarded model weight mmap pages alongside KV cache
• Replace progress bar with static spinner — ModelLoadingView now shows a simple pulse-animated spinner instead of progress percentages
• Add memory warning banner and automatic ctx reduction for large models
