Fuwari v1.2 — Yomitan Backend Rewrite

This release is a complete rewrite of Fuwari's dictionary backend. The old JMdict-simplified format has been replaced with full Yomitan dictionary format support, making Fuwari compatible with the entire Yomitan dictionary ecosystem.

What's New

Yomitan Dictionary Support

• Import any Yomitan-format dictionary zip directly into Fuwari
• Drop .zip files into ~/.local/share/fuwari/dictionaries/ and restart
• Supports term banks, term meta banks, kanji banks, and kanji meta banks

Frequency Data

• Full support for Yomitan-format frequency dictionaries (JPDB, VN Freq, etc.)
• Frequency rank displayed in the popup

Performance

• SQLite indexes on term and character lookups for significantly faster results

First Run Experience

• New first-run window guides users to dictionary resources if no dictionaries are found
• Links to MarvNC's Yomitan dictionary collection and the Yomitan dictionary page

Migration

• Automatic detection and migration from the old v1.1 schema
• Existing users' databases are wiped and recreated cleanly on first launch

Breaking Changes

• The old JMdict-simplified format is no longer supported
• Users must import Yomitan-format dictionaries manually (see README)
• setup.sh has been removed
