v4.1.0
LinkedIn MCP 4.1.0 ships 24 local MCP tools. It adds:
prepare_job_application: an offline worksheet from user-provided job and resume facts, with missing and unverified claims called out.export_application_tracker: a CSV of up to 50 user-entered application statuses, follow-ups and receipt confirmations. The server stores no tracker records.- Selected-profile retirement and interrupted-retirement preview, alongside the Windows private-state guard introduced in 4.0.0.
Install the pinned package with npm install linkedin-mcp-tools@4.1.0 or follow the setup guide. Read the 4.1.0 release notes and independent publication evidence.
For Claude Desktop, download the 4.1.0 extension bundle and SHA256 checksum. Verify SHA256 225fcefd270ffb96a1d23b3eff40e100c809ab958d168554d1d3982e331c4428 before importing the bundle through Claude Desktop Settings → Extensions → Advanced settings → Install extension. This unsigned bundle runs local Node code with your macOS user's access. A native Claude Desktop check discovered all 24 tools and returned cold whoami values sessionState: not_checked and loggedIn: null; the test extension was then uninstalled. See the bundle guide.
This release does not fill, upload or submit applications, including Easy Apply. The experimental research_jobs tool remains outside the release. Live LinkedIn compatibility and fresh-user first-use outcomes are unverified.
