🚀 Getting Started

Follow these steps to get up and running with Cloidet:

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following installed:

  • Node.js (v16+)
  • Docker & Docker Compose
  • MongoDB Atlas Account (or local MongoDB instance)
  • Git

Installation

# 1. Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/cloidet.git

# 2. Navigate to the project directory
cd cloidet

# 3. Set up environment variables
cp .env.example .env

# 4. Install backend dependencies
cd backend && npm install

# 5. Install frontend dependencies
cd ../frontend && npm install

# 6. Build and run with Docker
docker-compose up --build

Once the setup is complete, open your browser and visit http://localhost:3000.

  1. Sign Up / Log In: Access your personalized dashboard.
  2. Create Projects: Set up new projects with ease.

⚙️ Configuration & Environment Variables

You’ll need to configure the following environment variables:

MONGO_URI=your-mongodb-atlas-uri
JWT_SECRET=your-secret-key
NODE_ENV=development
PORT=5000
