Intel Mac users: The arm64 DMG runs on Intel Macs via macOS Rosetta 2 (enabled by default on macOS 11+). No separate Intel build is provided as GitHub no longer offers Intel macOS runners.

macOS Installation & Gatekeeper Notice

  1. Open YTDL-macos-arm64.dmg and drag YTDL.app into your Applications folder shortcut.
  2. To clear Apple Gatekeeper's quarantine attribute (if macOS shows an "app is damaged or cannot be opened" alert on first launch), open Terminal and run:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/YTDL.app
  1. Launch YTDL from Launchpad or Spotlight.

Linux Installation

Ensure system WebKit2GTK is installed (standard on most desktop Linux distributions), then make the AppImage executable and run:

chmod +x YTDL-linux-x86_64.AppImage
./YTDL-linux-x86_64.AppImage
