FluidCore Platform v0.9.0 (Windows Native Pre-Release)

An open-source, offline-first alternative to LiquidText designed for active reading and synthesis: a fluid, malleable PDF reader fused with an infinite 2D thinking canvas.

This pre-release introduces native Windows 11 support, standalone installation packages, and the core active-reading toolset.

✨ What's in this Pre-Release

  • Accordion Squeeze: Pinch or Ctrl+Shift+Scroll to collapse non-adjacent pages and compare distant sections side-by-side.
  • Infinite 2D Canvas & Excerpts: Drag text or visual image crops from your documents onto an unbounded workspace with R*-tree spatial indexing.
  • Bi-Directional Anchors: Click ↗ Anchor on any card to glide to the original source location in the document; click ↶ Return to jump back to your canvas thought.
  • Relational Ink Connectors: Draw lines between cards with the connector tool (Alt+6 / F6) to create persistent Bezier relational links (GraphEdge).
  • Magnetic Card Stacking: Drop cards within 16pt proximity to snap them into collapsible, reorderable topic decks.
  • Full-Text & Tag Search: Fast in-memory search across document text, canvas snippets, and tags (#tag, tag:xyz) with camera glide navigation.
  • Synthesis Export: Flatten annotated vector PDFs or export Markdown outlines with embedded Mermaid flowcharts.
  • 100% Offline & Private: Stored in .ltproj bundles (SQLite WAL format) with atomic temp-swap commits. Zero telemetry, zero cloud calls, air-gapped security.

fluidcore-windows-x64.zip Portable standalone zip containing all bundled UCRT64 runtime DLLs, GLib schemas, and icons. Run anywhere without administrator rights.
