v1.1.2
Pyre 1.1.2 — a hotfix for web (LAN) chat.
🐛 Fixed
- Web/LAN chat: "No provider configured" / proxy 503 / 403. When you paired a browser (web client) to a desktop over LAN, chatting could fail with "No provider configured" or "provider not permitted." The cause: the active-provider pointer was syncing between the desktop and the web client, but the web client has its own separate provider list (it never receives your keys — it proxies chat through the desktop). Selecting a provider on one device would deselect it on the other. Now those pointers are device-local, and a paired web client always proxies through whatever provider is active on your desktop — no provider setup needed on the web side.
After updating, you may need to re-select your provider once per device.
Update over the top of any 1.0.x / 1.1.x — your characters, chats, presets and keys are kept.
Install
- Android —
pyre-android.apk(signed; updates cleanly over any 1.0.x / 1.1.x). - Windows —
pyre-windows-x64.zip; unzip the whole folder, runpyre.exe. - Linux —
pyre-linux-x64.tar.gz. - iPhone / iPad / any browser — the Web build is a companion to your desktop: run Pyre on a desktop, turn on the LAN server, and open the desktop's address in any browser on your network.
Public beta — the desktop builds aren't code-signed yet, so Windows/Linux may warn "unknown publisher." The Android APK is signed. The desktop downloads bundle the web UI (so LAN/browser access works out of the box).
