I got it now over the google store. I also downloaded the zip with this Motorider theme and I switch now a few time from that to the normal one. To be honest - this is 1:1 the same. I do not see any difference. Any ideas?

After changing the map engine, I had to verify the auto-zoom ranges during navigation. Since, to my mind, this applies more to navigation than to routing (I know, there is still follow mode) my first instinct was to look for these settings in Navigation | Auto zoom. Once again, I forgot that I can find these settings in Routing | Speeds. Are you sure this is the right place for these settings? There it fits at most Average speed (route duration), but auto-zoom in routing?

By the way: I had a strange behaviour related to this (this was probably the last beta...). My first via-point on the route was one of my Favourites. I don't know if it matters, but it so happened that there was also a turning point very close by (the Favourite is in the centre of a roundabout). The Cruiser up to this point ignored the Maximum auto zoom setting. Both in Distance and Speed + Distance mode. Many times I had to manually zoom in on the map before the turning points! It looked as if the auto zoom ignored the yellow dots focusing on the first via-point (?). After passing that via-point, everything was working perfectly.

I think this only happened to me, and only now, because surely someone would have noticed it. I will check this behaviour again soon. If it happens again, I will of course report it with details.

Apart from that, everything was OK! Including the weather and the beautiful autumn on the route ❤️

@Ciutnik I did tests with distance auto zoom and it seems to work properly.
Zoom out when away from next turn instruction and zoom in when near it.
And limited inside the selected min and max auto zoom settings.

When touch the screen the auto center and auto zoom are disabled temporarily,
for the time selected in "Settings | Location | Advanced | Auto center map view".
Have you touched the screen, so the auto-zoom waited for the time out to end?

Thanks for the tests. I was so expecting everything to be OK, and that it was just in my case, one time something went wrong, but I thought I'd let you know about it. I have never had this problem before, nor has anyone reported it. But after all, it's part of the basic and everyday functionality of the app, so you'd be the first to catch it 🙂

I'll test the same route again sometime and see if the problem recurs (probably not). In the meantime, I apologise for the unnecessary confusion.

I've been traveling a bit for the last 2 weeks. A total of just over 6200km. (CRUISER 5.0x beta)
I tried out different routing services.
In Valhalla it shows at EVERY roundabout: take exit 2! Every time.
It is shown correctly on the map view.
It worked so far for the other services.

What is a bit annoying are the suboptimal voice announcements.

For example, when driving past any highway exit, the following message comes up: Turn slightly left...???
It could say: Follow the road or just-> say nothing .

It's similar when driving on country roads: when you pass any exit (often even on dirt roads) the same announcement comes up.
Here, depending on which side the path is on, turn either slightly left or slightly right.
As long as I don't leave the road I'm on, I don't need any (often confusing) announcement.

Also the announcements: turn slightly to the left (right)/
Make a sharp left (right) turn.
are often not true!
As long as this doesn't work reliably, limit to:
Turn right
Turn left.

Otherwise everything worked well so far.

Turn instructions are generated by the routers that know the road network during routing.

About Valhalla, testing a random Valhalla route, I also see roundabout exit 1.
Can you test with Valhalla website and see what turn instructions it produces in your route?
Or can post some route examples as Valhalla links to check.

It seems to be a problem in Valhalla turn instructions. For example, see this route on OpenStreetMap website.
Valhalla shows the 2nd exit while the other routers show the correct 3rd exit.

A not important issue: the coastline in Portugal seems to be stange and in zoomlevel 12+ becames partially green.

The problem with the coastline is (as far as I can see) only with the Motorider map theme and at nature reserves. With the Elevate/Elements map style the coastline is correct.

There is a new behaviour in Cruiser 5 compared to previous versions when applying changes in "My collection".

Example:

• Open "My collection" > "Tracks / Areas"
• Apply changes, e.g. change "Show on map" options for one or multiple entries
• Hit the "Save" button (disc icon)
• "My collection" is immediately closed

In older versions up to Cruiser 4.0.1 (or even the never released 4.1.0-b2) the "Save" button did NOT close "My collection". Instead, Cruiser applied all changes and confirmed them with a "Saved successfully" message, keeping "My collection" open for additional manipulations.

Could you PLEASE add this behaviour to Cruiser 5 again, @devemux86!??

I never had issues (but I have only ~140 tracks and ~100 favorites up to now)...

It is better to press Save after finishing all changes.

If this is set in stone and will stay from now on I suggest to replace the disc icon by the "confirm tick mark" like in all other dialogs.

It is quite misleading when different icons are used for the same thing (confirm/save & close in that case) throughout the app.

@devemux86 @bios4 I have ~900 Favorites (visible from zoom-11) here, plus about 5000 others in some hidden groups to do with mountain summits and radio transmitters (what a combination of hobbies) - and I've never experienced any lagging when saving or making "viewing" changes to the Groups.

If there's a workflow I can test with that amount of data, I'd be happy to try and break it 🐒 🔧
