OpenAndroMaps new download scheme

OAM has changed the map and POI download structure. Is there a Cruiser adaption necessary? Will maps and POIs be downloaded together as in the past or will you separate them?

I already discussed the new structure with Christian, see the discussion in OpenAndroMaps forum.

The new structure of OpenAndroMaps maps and pois will be supported in Cruiser 5.3.
(it will download separately the maps and pois)

What about the idea of automatic check for new maps or POIs and an indicator? Is it possible to bring it back?

Offline maps and poi are not updated often, so I could see it at the future.

More important is the BRouter (offline) routing data that are updated daily.

You are right, but I know that every day there is a BRouter update. Maps and POIs I have to check manually whether there is an update or not. An indicator (red dot?) would be useful to be informed about new available updates...? 🆕
