By the way: if there is such a major change in UI, do you think it is also possible to give the waypoint icons (start/end, way/via point, shaping point) a more modern look? Currently they actually look ancient, like they've fallen out of time... 😉 Originally posted by @bios4 in #776 (reply in thread). |

I suppose that icon size will be a parameter to make it easier. |

Replying to the post from here.
@bios4 There is actually no empty space in the first menu, because there is also the "Recalculate section". About the "Round trip" in the route menu, we can indeed remove it if it is not needed. |

Don't like this change at all... the tiles are much better for usage with gloves. The font size changes a lot other unwanted things, not only the actions menu. |

I read that "Tiles are difficult to work properly and be compatible with the many screen sizes / dpi of Android" and I can understand it, but one of the main reasons why I use and pay for the use of Cruiser is its interface. |

"Glove friendlyness" ... a current definite added value for (motor)cyclists that seems to be totally gone with the new menus. |

The tile buttons will be replaced with simpler menus.
Tiles are difficult to work properly and be compatible with the many screen sizes / dpi of Android.
This will also allow us to include more actions without being limited by fixed number of tiles
and avoid the multiple menu steps in many screens that makes the app complicated.
