GPX waypoint color support

[0709wiwiwi]

Waypoint gpx color support.

• Cruiser default shows gpx wpt as cyan dots. (The Cruiser default dot size as shown is fine)

Suggestion NEW

• Support display wpt color dots by gpx color extension.

<extensions>
	<xsi:gpx>
		<color>#FF0000FF</color> <!--Blue-->
		<scale>1.0</scale> <!--Relative to the app default icon size-->
	</xsi:gpx>
</extensions>

• An example image.

Demo gpx file is attached.

• OsmAnd display.

OsmAnd Map (web) reads the color extension as well.

• Organic Maps display.

  Organic Maps 2025.09.05-17-Google-beta reads the extension as well.

• Bmaps Navigation display.

  Bmaps Navigation v2.54 reads the color extension as well.

@0709wiwiwi Thanks for the suggestion.

GPX waypoint colors are already supported, so they will be available in the next Cruiser.

By Cruiser 5.6.0 Beta 2
The color of the dots is fine. But the dots size has become a little too large.
The original dot size as shown in the first image is most optimal.

@0709wiwiwi Please check the latest Beta.

Excellent.

• Available in Cruiser 5.6.2 #834

Update in the first post . New image of compatible gpx wpt color support in Organic Maps.

[bios4]

I really like the waypoint icons (shape, overall look) of this "Organic Maps" screenshot!!! 👍

These look much more modern and up-to-date than the ones Cruiser currently uses (somewhere in a post that I can't find right now, I already suggested refreshing the Cruiser icons a bit)...

@bios4
Any preference for certain icons is always quite personal.
Apps by gpx transfer can't offer multiple icons that suit everyone's preferences.
Anyway freely select any icon and transfer them into a gpz file.
Add the icon image in the root of the gpz file, add the icon name in the gpx wpt sym.
Transfer so as well b/w icons (optional with color info),.

Or already set colored ones like national flag png icons.
In the receiver app(s) freely set the default icon display size.
As well the gpx viewer app and Locus map display the icons.

• Cruiser b/w icons display in Locus map by gpz transfer.
