Export route as CSV

I would like to export the turn instructions into a printable format.
At the moment, I cannot even select the text to copy it.

Ideally, it would be amazing to have a macro that looks at each turn instruction and puts it next to a small map snapshot and lists them in a PDF file, but if I could at least select and copy the text that would make a big difference.
Otherwise I may have to repeatedly screenshot and invert the text instructions that the program displays in my dark theme, and be unable to easily resize/reformat them, or often restart to change themes.

I've seen a few posts on FB touring groups where the luddites 🧑‍🌾 🧟 scribble basic directions onto a piece of paper and place it inside the clear compartment of their tank-bag...

That's the kind of ideal backup I'd use - and you could almost navigate the route with your eyes closed 😎

Cruiser supported in the past export of route instructions in CSV format.
I can check it again.

This is a helpful feature, especially with online BRouter via Cruiser Desktop - where road names are offered so you can trim the instructions and only print out the "major" turns 😄 Comparing the same route between App and Desktop, the App instructions from the same (BaseCamp GPX) are quite "vague", eg: "Turn left" - but using Desktop with online BRouter gives you the road you're turning in/onto. Sweet.

With some manipulation - the file is more SCSV than CSV 😛 - it kinda works. Nice.

@devemux86 Ah yes... Kind of my fault. I still sometimes use Cruiser Desktop VTM which appears to reset the current (Mapsforge) settings... taking me back to metric and OpenRouteService.

I use the VTM Playground most of the time, but when I want to test a quick VTM tweak without pushing the XML to the App, I run the older Desktop.

I was not asking for a csv export. But now that there is one I wonder if it is necessary or desirable to include the shaping points in the export as well ? Just the TBT plus the via points is possibly more optimal and sufficient ?

I didn't ask for it either - but I was curious.
Perhaps the shaping points are unnecessary in the CSV - but they are also listed in the navigatable routes.

@WolfgangZ42 CSV export is not a new implementation, we just enabled the old implementation.

We can improve it in the next version.

Note: the CSV export was originally designed to contain the turn instructions,
so it should be the same as the turn instructions list.
