Merge routes in my collection

Zwei Routen zu verbinden(wenn sie nicht zu weit voneinander entfernt sind) wäre manchmal auch sinnvoll.

Das mit der Routenberechnung ist klar.
Es Verschieben sich aber oftmals Tagesetappen(bei mir) und da wäre es ganz praktisch wenn man die Routen nicht nur trennen sondern auch zusammenführen könnte.

Merge routes in my collection is available in Cruiser 5.8.0 Beta 5:

Select 2 routes, open their menu and press merge.

The merged routes remain unchanged, only their connecting path is calculated.

Or you may have a route displayed as an overlay whose color hides the colors of the actual route.
Deactivate all route overlays so that only the merged route is displayed.

This works as expected - the initial section on the 2nd route has a different routing profile (purple). At high zoom, there is a few miles gap between the routes and there is correct routing for the "missing" portion during merge.

Note that the overlays are displayed over the active route.
Hide the overlays if you want to see the route colors.

Update: I load 2 routes (blue) with a significant gap between the end of 1st and the start of 2nd. I then select the default routing profile to "purple". When merging those routes, the missing gap is also blue - it should be purple, as that's now my "default".

PS: The section profile is correct - the color is the issue! I press and hold that section, and it says "No Motorway/Toll" which is PURPLE. But the line is blue!

ich habe testmässig ein paar Routen mit unterschiedlichen Profilen im Cruiser geplant und miteinander verbunden. Das hat geklappt.
Plane ich aber am PC und importiere die Routen- klappt das mit den Farben nicht.
Selbst dann wenn ich die importierten Routen im Cruiser nochmal neu berechnen lasse.

We also don't quite understand what you mean by "doesn't work." We need detailed, step-by-step instructions.

Bei Routen die ich mit dem CRUISER plane funktioniert alles prima.
Bei Routen die mit Kurviger(oder dem BRouter web-client) geplant werden:
Die einzellnen Routen haben nach dem Abspeichern in "meine Sammlung" die richtige Farbe!
Aber->
Die zusammengeführte Tour hat aber komplett die Farbe des zweiten Routenabschnitts.Egal ob im "kurviger" Format oder als "GPX" importiert...
Nicht wirklich tragisch...eher ein optisches Problem.

See overlays as a problem or as a solution?
Overlays are always shown as the top layer.

Compare.
Cruiser internal folder data with gpx file external data.
Cruiser favorite points <-> or gpx wpts
Cruiser tracks <-> or gpx trks
Cruiser routes <-> or gpx navtrks.

Save TBT routes in Cruiser with their designed color and width.
In gpx, wpt color plus (nav)trk color and width are easily possible.

Select 2 internal Cruiser routes <-> or as gpx multi navtrk imports.
The overlay TOP layer should show you the original track color and (not yet) width.
The connection line shows the selected current color and the width.

You can therefore use the internal folders as available in the Android app.
Desktop to Android transfers.
Desktop to Android app transfers could than be done using gpx navtrks.
As well the track color, width and favorite points can easily be attached.

The overlay color (width 6) is shown on top and covers the black (width 6) route color line

• Standard routeline width set: 6
  The route connecting line is black width 6.

Perhaps the ignore closed roads.

The routing through the garage was indeed caused by the ignore_barrier = false setting...

Ignore barrier was introduced so we can plan routes regardless the closed roads and seasons.
But It can have such side effects as barriers can be used everywhere. 🙂

@devemux86 Thanks! As I originally noticed it during the "Merge" process, creating a basic route was my next step as I wanted to ensure that it was a problem that was either tied to the "Merge" or something that happened everywhere and worth a closer look 😄

@bios4 The barrier thing gave me lots of issues here in the UK for some types of level_crossing!
Without going down that rabbit-hole again, I think there was a trade-off between bona-fide barriers like concrete posts and private lift-gates that you couldn't get a vehicle through... and a level-crossing barrier that you could pass through, unless it was down.

It would be really helpful if these kinds of "barriers" (or closures) could be handled with more granular precision.
Unfortunately, I lack any knowledge of whether (and if so, how) this is even possible with BRouter...

Vielleicht noch eine Idee zur Darstellung der zusammengeführten Routen in "Meine Sammlung":
Momentan werden die zusammengeführten Routen hintereinander ,durch ein "+",dargestellt:->Routenname der Route1+Routenname der Route2
Das kann bei langen Routennmen etwas unübersichtlich werden...
Meine Idee:
Routenname der Route 1
+
Routenname der Route 2
Das Ganze untereinander, das"+" dazwischen.
