It's been nice seeing this come together over the last few weeks and numerous test builds. Some of these features were added quite late and I expect required a fair bit of coding but have made the UX much more pleasant, the "Search" for example. The Garmin icon support makes housekeeping much more efficient for me, a simple GPX export from BaseCamp gives icons, comments and websites sync'd perfectly between Computer and Phone 🗺️ 👍 It's also been very useful to have much of this replicated on the Desktop build. Hopefully there aren't too many changes to spoil @bios4 recent work on the screenshots over in the Wiki section. PS: It's sitting around 5'c, so not much fun in the drizzle/mist and when it's dry, the micro-climates like to leap out on you ⛸️ |

Suggestions to slightly streamline the settings menu @devemux86... Settings > Routing > BRouter (offline) > Advanced > "Correct misplaced waypoints" currently consists of two separate menu items - 1) an on/off switch as well as 2) an entry to define the distance from {0m-1km}. What about to "combine" these two settings in a single one (slider style), like it is e.g. done in Settings > Map > Appearance > "Group icons on the map (zoom)" with possible values {Off;8-20}. And a second suggestion: change the translation in Settings > Routing > BRouter (offline) > any route profile > "Edit" to "Rename" ("Umbenennen" in German)? Because this is what this option is supposed to do. |

I don't know if this is the best or the opposite for better user understanding. The on/off options are actual switches without mixing them with sliders |

I'm not sure myself. 😉 But there is more than one setting throughout the different app sections with a "mixture" or "implicit on/off". |

One issue that I can see with a single Not just for Grouping icons, but the Favorites "Show on Map" also has an On/Off plus the sliding scale - Obviously the value can be set in the GPX during import along with the true/false visibility. To that end I'm supportive of a hard switch alongside the slider. |

@devemux86 Thanks for this! The new "units" feature is great for people like me (certain age, certain location) where mixed units are common-place. Speeds are imperial, milk is metric. One minor issue I see is with the new toggle "Route diagram" option in the "long-press on the route line" menu (hint for those who have missed this very nice new feature!)... after using the diagram to "draw" the progress of the route, when you turn off the diagram, the cross-hairs remain unless you move the map with your fingers. The on-screen buttons do not clear it. |

Favorite routes in my collection are now displayed as lines, like the tracks. We could also display the favorite route's waypoints, so we can use them in new routes, favorites, etc. Probably with simple / small icons to avoid filling the map, as we may display multiple favorite routes Do you find this idea useful?

Tested the additional screen lock method with my external Bluetooth device. Worked nice. One wish. When I lock the screen I see a short pop-up screen locked. When I unlock the screen I see nothing. I pop-up with the message screen unlocked would be useful |

When will version 5 be officially released in the Play Store? This is another major update for all other Cruiser users. It would be cool if, after installation, a pop-up appeared with information about all the great changes. Have a nice weekend. Ab wann wird die Version 5 offiziell im Playstore veröffentlicht? Das ist doch schon wieder ein großes Update für alle anderen Cruiser Anwender. Cool wäre dann nach der Installation ein Pop-Up mit dem Hinweis auf die ganzen tollen Veränderungen. Schönes Wochenende. |
