OpenHome 1.0.1
Three faults a clean-slate install made obvious - none of them visible on a TV that already had
settings saved.
- The first run never ran. The setup that builds your first app bar and picks a weather
location was hooked into the app-list refresh, which only fires when the list changes. A
genuine first launch takes a different path, so a new install got no folders and no weather
location even though weather was switched on. - The clock started in the middle of the screen. Clock, date and weather all sat over the
centre of the wallpaper. They start in the top-left corner now, which is what every screenshot
in the readme shows. - The package claimed to run on webOS 4.x. It cannot: the launcher uses
async/await, and
the Chromium 53 in webOS 4 only reaches ES2016. The requirement is webOS 5.3 or newer.
The 1.0.0 package was built before these fixes, so anyone who installed it met exactly these
faults. This release has them.
