QuickTerm v3.6.0
The sidebar is the whole interface
The status bar, the quick-settings drawer and the pane header on a lone pane
are gone. A single terminal fills the window edge to edge; the sidebar names
it and shows its state. Headers come back with a second pane, and their
actions only draw on hover.
The sidebar is one list. "+ name" opens a terminal and the chevron beside it
changes what that is. The workspace is a dropdown with "+ new scratch" as its
last row. Every live terminal follows as a dot and a name, double-click to
rename, then four icons for new window, dashboard, settings and help.
Alt+Shift+S cycles the sidebar through full, a 30 px rail of dots, and hidden.
Hidden leaves a small "+" over the terminal's left edge that can be dragged up
and down and remembers where it was.
Claude Code needs no profile any more. When the CLI is installed, "Claude ·
continue / new / resume" are offered next to the system shells and open in the
workspace folder like any shell.
Boot no longer waits for the shell inventory scan or a full process-metrics
sweep. The inventory is cached in the browser and for a minute on the server,
and the first session list is the cheap one. Both were about half a second on
the path to the first prompt. About 25 KB of stylesheet for the old top bar
and status bar was removed.
Ctrl+± and Ctrl+0 change the focused pane's text size; the saved default lives
in Settings. The "This pane / All panes" scope switch went with the drawer.
Install: run QuickTerm-v3.6.0-Setup.exe, or unpack the zip. Both are listed in
SHA256SUMS.txt. The in-app updater in Settings > About picks this release up.
