VoiceInput v1.0.0
macOS push-to-talk voice transcription and FR↔EN translation. Runs fully on-device via Whisper + Ollama — no cloud, no API keys.
Install
- Download VoiceInput.dmg below
- Open it
- Double-click Install VoiceInput — installs everything automatically
Requires Ollama to be installed first.
What gets installed
- Python virtual environment with all dependencies
- Ollama models:
gemma3:4b(refinement) +qwen2.5:7b(translation) VoiceInput.app→/Applications
After install — grant Terminal permissions
System Settings → Privacy & Security:
- Microphone → add Terminal
- Accessibility → add Terminal
