  • Privacy mode now hides loaded Inspector file paths, network endpoints, and private security metadata in both the desktop app and TUI.
  • Importing or deleting a snapshot no longer leaves the TUI stuck on the wrong data source. Settings saves now run outside the UI thread, and shutdown cancels a pending Linux network-service recovery request.

  • Update checks now show a persistent result with the installed and available version, build, and selected channel. Linux and Windows keep downloads as an explicit action that opens the official Hoddmimis downloads page.
  • On macOS, a manual check can securely download a signed update with Squirrel.Mac and offer to install it by relaunching Hoddmimis. Stable remains the default; Beta is opt-in, and switching back to Stable never downgrades an installed build.
  • Existing builds that reject newer MSI or PKG entries in the signed release feed may need one manual download before they receive the repaired update behavior.
