Shape Crank v0.1.0

First private DevMuse prototype release of Shape Crank: a simple shape-and-drive pedal designed to make a guitar hit an amp or amp sim properly.

Included

  • macOS VST3 for Apple Silicon (arm64)
  • Windows VST3 for 64-bit Windows (x86_64)
  • Product version 0.1.0

Install on macOS

  1. Download and extract Shape-Crank-v0.1.0-macOS-arm64-VST3.zip.
  2. Copy Shape Crank.vst3 to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/.
  3. Restart or rescan your DAW.

This prototype uses a valid ad-hoc code signature but is not Developer ID signed or notarised. macOS may therefore require explicit approval after download.

Install on Windows

  1. Download and extract ShapeCrank-v0.1.0-Windows-VST3.zip.
  2. Copy Shape Crank.vst3 to your VST3 directory, normally C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\.
  3. Restart or rescan your DAW.

The Windows bundle was built from the release commit on a GitHub-hosted Windows runner and verified as an x86-64 VST3 bundle. A DAW smoke test on Windows is still recommended before treating this as a stable release.

The AU and Standalone builds are not included because their current bundles fail strict signature verification.
