v2.4.0 — Prototype Replay System & Auto-Crouch Disable
BNL Community Fixes v2.4
Prototype Match Replay System
This release introduces a brand-new experimental replay pipeline.
This system does not use any built-in Block N Load replay format. Instead, it records network packets from your patched client, then allows you to analyze and play them back later.
How to use Match Replays
Open the launcher.
Go to the Match Replays section.
Enable Record match replays.
Use the Custom, Casual, and Ranked checkboxes to choose which match types should be recorded.
Play a match.
After the match ends, a capture file will be saved to:
<BlockNLoad>\Win64\BlockNLoad_Data\bnl-match-replays\
In the launcher, click Browse Replays to open the replay browser.
Select a capture and click Analyze to decode it.
To watch the replay in-game, click Launch Replay Mode in the replay browser.
Once the game reaches the main menu, press F7 to load and start the replay.
Replay Controls
Key | Action -- | -- F7 | Load and start replay F8 | Reset replay [ / ] | Scrub backward/forward by 5 seconds - / + | Decrease/increase replay speed F9 | Toggle free spectator cameraImportant Notes
This is an early prototype. Captures are based on client-side observations and are not authoritative server replays.
Performance and capture file sizes may vary depending on the match.
Experimental: Disable Auto-Crouch
A new experimental launcher option has been added to disable the game’s automatic crouch behavior.
This can be found in the launcher’s Experimental Settings section.
