erdify 0.8.0
Faster scans and deterministic output.
⚠️ Your committed ERDs will reorder once after upgradingModel files are now discovered in sorted order, so elements in the generated
.puml/.mmdappear in a new, deterministic order. Content is unchanged — identical entities, columns and relationships, only their ordering differs. Expect a one-time diff the next time erdify regenerates (pre-commit / CI--check); commit it once and output is stable across machines thereafter. This is why it's a minor bump.
Changed
- The
models.pyscan now prunes excluded directories (venv/site-packages/caches) during the directory walk instead of after a fullrglob. Large non-project trees like.venvare never traversed — ~3.5× faster end-to-end on a real repo (~6800 → ~120 directories walked). - Discovered model files are now sorted → deterministic, machine-independent ERD element order.
Maintenance
- CI now tests on macOS and Windows (min+max Python) alongside the full Linux Python sweep, gated behind a single aggregate
Tests passedcheck.
