Gajae Code App v2.0.0-beta.20 (desktop 0.2.14)
Runtime:
- GJC SDK 0.17.6. The app-owned lifecycle patch is ported to it, and the built-in model presets are regenerated, adding 17 presets that were missing from the picker (#176).
- Upstream fixes in 0.17.6: MCP startup timeout warnings,
Invalid porton model-host preconnect, thenotifycommand collision, and crash-journal records for permission denials and failing bash commands.
The app and the terminal now behave the same way (#177):
- Account selection follows the runtime, as in the CLI. With several stored accounts for a provider, the app used to pin the lowest row id. That bypassed
gjc accounts pin, routing exclusions and usage-limit rotation. It could also send every turn to an account whose organization refuses OAuth (403) while the terminal worked. - Reasoning streams while the model thinks. Under the Detailed density, reasoning fills in live instead of arriving as one block when the phase ends.
- The session watcher stays up on large histories. On macOS it no longer rescans the whole session directory on every transcript write. That rescan overflowed its bound and forced a full reconciliation over and over.
- The service tier is the runtime's own setting:
serviceTier, or/fast on|offper session. The app pins none and shows the tier a run resolved to.
Known upstream items: hook refusals and tool input errors are still written to the crash journal (Yeachan-Heo/gajae-code#5938). Separate gjc processes still poll provider usage independently (Yeachan-Heo/gajae-code#5939).
