8.3.0 — 2026-09-05
Semver rationale: minor — adds sentence diagnostics and audit inspection metadata for editor integrations; existing scores and rewrite defaults remain stable.
- Sentence diagnostics. Offline inspection localizes lexical evidence to source-aligned sentences. JSON audits include the same deterministic source metadata, so editors can display findings without another model call. Code and HTML masking preserve Unicode offsets.
- Editor installation guides. Documents VS Code 1.1, Obsidian 1.0 and the Gmail extension preview, including local scoring, explicit provider calls and installation requirements. Gmail account testing and store submission remain pending.
- Shared browser analysis. Node and browser callers use the same deterministic analysis core. Regression outputs remain identical across the 49 existing fixtures.
- Audited model studies. Claude response identity is separated from auxiliary usage accounting. Independent judges can evaluate preserved outputs, and result joins validate parent receipts and protocol bindings. Comparative experiments remain in progress; this release makes no model ranking claim.
