Release list
v0.1.0
The first release of CLAN: a self-hosted gateway that turns your Codex subscriptions
into one OpenAI Responses endpoint with named, revocable keys.
What's in it
POST /v1/responses(JSON and SSE) andGET /v1/modelsfor OpenCode and the
OpenAI Python SDK.- Codex accounts connected through browser sign-in. Requests rotate between
accounts, and accounts that hit provider limits sit out until they recover. - One named key per app or person, with a concurrency limit. Revoking a key stops
its running requests. - Admin API under
/apiwith an OpenAPI schema. - OAuth tokens encrypted in SQLite; request content is never logged.
- Docker Compose setup:
just build && just run.
Checked live
OpenCode 1.18.29 and the OpenAI Python SDK 3.13.0: text, tool calls, images, JSON
Schema, reasoning replay, streaming, cancellation, concurrency limits and key revocation.
Known limitations
- OpenCode cannot generate session titles through CLAN: it asks for a reasoning
effort that Codex models do not support. Normal turns work. - Right after a new sign-in, the model list can return 503 until the catalog
retries (up to five minutes) or the gateway restarts. - Not checked yet: several accounts at once and sign-in on a remote server.
- Open bugs: #48 (startup errors hide their cause) and #49 (a failed OAuth callback
listener silently disables all accounts).
Get started
Follow the Quick start in the README. While the version is 0.x, the API and
configuration may still change.
