}Title note: some records, including the NSF award listing, cite this article under its earlier working title, "A Computationally Efficient Analytic Two-Temperature Model for Multi-Pulse Femtosecond Laser Heat Accumulation in Metals: Application to Tungsten". The title changed shortly before publication. Both refer to the same article, DOI 10.1007/s11665-026-14738-6.
This Python package has its own Zenodo record, separate from the MATLAB toolbox. The concept DOI 10.5281/zenodo.22210435 always resolves to the latest release, and each GitHub release also receives its own version DOI, which is the right choice when reproducibility of an exact version matters.

Record the package version alongside the DOI when you report results, for example laserttm 0.1.14, since releases are published automatically and an unpinned install can move between runs.
If your work depends on the reference implementation, or on the agreement between the two, cite it as well: 10.5281/zenodo.20389305, repository ultrafast-laser-ttm-toolbox. See Validation for how that agreement is established and measured.
This work was supported by the National Science Foundation under Award No. CMMI-2412544, Collaborative Research: Additive Manufacturing of Crack-Free Tungsten Using Ultrashort Pulsed Lasers, with Dr. Anming Hu as principal investigator. See the repository README for the full acknowledgments.
