  • Add coverImageBase64 + coverImageContentType (image/jpeg or image/png) support to /api/books/sync, paired with Saga SAG-31 / SAG-32 (https://github.com/dgattey/saga/pull/51).
  • Validate raw standard base64 cover payloads (no data: prefix, no line breaks, exact padding, <= 3 MiB decoded bytes) and require coverImageBase64 and coverImageContentType to be supplied together.
  • Upload binary cover bytes via Contentful CMA Upload API (POST https://upload.contentful.com/spaces/{space}/uploads with Content-Type: application/octet-stream), create the Contentful Asset with uploadFrom (linkType: "Upload") and <bookId>.jpg/.png filename, process, poll until fields.file[locale].url is populated, and publish.
  • Return coverImageUrl (normalized to absolute https://images.ctfassets.net/...) on each entries[] item across binary cover uploads, remote coverImageUrl downloads, and existing linked coverAssetId entries.
