  • Corners. Rounded paper edges are now four per-corner border-radius tokens instead of clip-path: inset() round. Mats, rims, pills and nested panels subtract (or add) their gap from each corner, so the outlines stay concentric. This covers the matted home prints, the Spotify sleeve and caption rims, the header logo, Music menu links, color scheme options, the header now-playing thumbnail, the footer now strip pills and art, and the /music badges, art and stats mats. Only torn edges still clip to a polygon. Dropping clip-path also stops it from cutting off drop shadows.
  • Long song names. Tooltip gains whenTruncated. The trigger can shrink, and the tooltip opens only when its text is actually cut off. It's used for the track title and artists on the home and header cards, the footer now strip, the album well (replacing native title) and the stats repeat list. Single-line truncation now ellipsizes mid-word. The old one-line clamp dropped whole words, which left a gap before the dots.
  • Tooltips inside tilted paper. A rotated or drop-shadowed card becomes the tooltip's containing block, so the browser measured "room" inside the card and pinned the tooltip on top of its own trigger. Truncation tooltips now keep their side of the trigger and overflow the card instead.
  • Footer now strip. It stays on one line on desktop. Now and the San Francisco time never shrink. The ride pill keeps its width up to a cap, so a long track gives way first. Both ellipsize, with the full text in the tooltip.
  • Header now-playing card. The paper opts into shrinking so a long title ellipsizes inside the card instead of widening it.
  • Blurry portrait. The intro asset was requested at a 660×660 cap, and sizes claimed 392px. But the 0.76 portrait window renders a square photo at the window's height, 516 CSS px, which needs 1032 to 1548 device pixels. The cap is gone, quality: 90, and sizes now comes from the cover math. At 3x the browser now picks the 1920w candidate and gets the full 1900px original, where before it got 660px stretched about 2.3×. The social card crops its own 2x JPEG, so it doesn't fetch the full original.
  • Caption spacing. The Spotify caption card sits 12px lower, so it no longer tucks under the album art.
