  • XBRL Code Refactoring - Eliminated duplication and improved maintainability
    • Created Shared Concepts Module: New edgar/xbrl/parsers/concepts.py centralizes positive value concepts and legitimate negative concepts
    • Eliminated Duplication: Removed ~240 lines of duplicated concept definitions across parser.py, calculation.py, and instance.py
    • Enhanced Financing Concepts: Added PaymentsForRepurchaseOfCommonStock and PaymentsOfDividends to financing activity concepts
    • Improved Consistency: Single source of truth for XBRL concept sign handling across all parsers
    • Test Alignment: Updated test expectations for cost of goods sold to align with issues #290 and #451
    • Impact: Better code maintainability, reduced risk of inconsistent behavior across XBRL parsing components
