@dhaucke dhaucke released this 12 Oct 12:21
  • New icon and banner in the add-on store and in the add-on panel

v2026.10.12

@dhaucke dhaucke released this 11 Oct 20:42
  • Polar Wet Food Feeder: backup battery level (card, overview and a Home Assistant Battery sensor) and the "Backup battery low" alert with its threshold under Alerts (0 turns it off), like the Granary. Without a battery fitted the feeder reports 0 and the add-on shows "—"

v2026.10.11

@dhaucke dhaucke released this 11 Oct 20:27
  • Bundled device pictures are shown whole with some room around them instead of filling (and cutting off) the card; your own photos still fill it
  • German interface and notifications use the 24-hour clock

v2026.10.10

Choose a tag to compare

@dhaucke dhaucke released this 11 Oct 20:22
  • Device pictures are back, in black and white for every device type (Dockstream RFID: white only), including the new Polar Wet Food Feeder, and the colour choice under Add Device and Edit picks the picture again. They are only shown while a device has no photo of its own; an uploaded photo under Edit always takes precedence

v2026.10.9

Choose a tag to compare

@dhaucke dhaucke released this 11 Oct 19:25
  • Removed the bundled device photos: they were Petlibro's own product images. A device now shows its icon until you upload your own photo under Edit → Custom Image. Links to the old photos are cleared on start, uploaded photos are kept. The colour choice is gone too, it only picked one of those photos

v2026.10.8

@dhaucke dhaucke released this 11 Oct 19:04
  • Polar Wet Food Feeder: Sound Mode (Normal or Intelligent) and Sound Interval in the add-on and in Home Assistant, like the Petlibro app's "Device Sound → Mode": Intelligent repeats the tone at the interval for up to 10 minutes and stops once the pet starts eating

v2026.10.7

@dhaucke dhaucke released this 11 Oct 19:00
  • New device: Polar Wet Food Feeder (PLAF109), built from a capture of the Petlibro app against the real cloud (fw 2.0.38). Feed now (on the chosen plate), stop feeding, choose plate 1-3, light, sound, temperature, feeding status and last fed, in the add-on and as Home Assistant entities. Feeding runs are logged with their plate. With the Cloud relay the Petlibro app keeps working for it too. Feeding plans stay in the Petlibro app (they reach the feeder through the relay); a Next Meal sensor is left out because the capture does not show which timezone the plan times are in. Not built: the ringer mode (values seen, meaning unknown), volume and cleaning reset (not in the captures)
  • The device's dispense steps are acked locally when the cloud does not answer, like the other feeders
  • "Default from Settings" in a device's alert settings is translated now

v2026.10.6

@dhaucke dhaucke released this 11 Oct 18:35
  • Commands go to the model a device uses in its own MQTT topics (dl/<model>/...), learned from its messages and remembered, instead of the model its device type implies. A device whose wire model differs from its type (for example a Dockstream sold as PLWF105) showed data but ignored every command, because commands went to a topic it does not listen on

v2026.10.5

@dhaucke dhaucke released this 11 Oct 18:25
  • New Home Assistant binary sensor Food Low for the One RFID and Granary feeders (on when the feeder's own food sensor reports the hopper empty or low). Before, the food level only showed in the add-on, not in Home Assistant

v2026.10.4

@dhaucke dhaucke released this 11 Oct 17:57
  • Works with the EMQX broker add-on as well as Mosquitto: the add-on finds which one is installed. Auto Setup stops that broker for the capture, and with EMQX the device logins go into EMQX's built-in user database through its REST API (new Settings fields EMQX API key and secret key, created in the EMQX dashboard under System → API Keys); EMQX applies them without a restart, so devices are not rebooted. Without an API key, or without EMQX's built-in database, the add-on logs that the login has to be created in EMQX by hand. Before, with EMQX, Auto Setup aborted ("App is not installed") and no device login was saved
  • If Mosquitto and EMQX both run, the add-on no longer guesses: set the one in use under Settings → MQTT → Broker add-on. Logins it created are tracked per broker, so switching brokers never touches accounts it did not create
  • The add-on no longer says "(dhaucke fork)" in its name and changelog
  • The version shown in the log and Help/About was stuck at 2026.10.1; a test now checks it against config.yaml
